Snoqualmie Falls

August 15  SNOQUALMIE FALLS

Steve started the day by giving the RV a much needed washing.  It was covered with dust and dirt from up north, but now it looks wonderful.

After lunch we set out to see some of the local sights so we headed for Snoqualmie where there is a very impressive waterfall.  Unfortunately, the view is spoiled somewhat by construction going on near the top of the falls.   The town also has a Railroad Museum and some impressive old train cars and engines along the road.  It is a pretty little town with a nice brewery.

We did some unintentional sightseeing in the little town of Renton when our Jeep GPS took us to a nonexistent Sam's.  We ended up doing our shopping at a Fred Myers Store which is like a huge WalMart Super Center with a Target Store inside.  I wish we had these stores in the southeast.  They are really great!
