Yep. We are still in Great Falls! We were all set to pull out this morning when the driver's side slide decided not to come in. After a lot of trying various things and calling every Newmar service place we could find, Steve finally figured out that the slide controller was bad. Another flurry of phone calls ensued and he found that Independence RV in Winter Park (where we bought this RV) had a controller in stock and could overnight ship it to us here. So, here we are until the UPS man comes tomorrow. It was a trying morning for Steve and Gary.
Nurse Barb removed the stitches from Steve's arm where he had skin cancer surgery 2 weeks ago. It is very convenient to have a nurse along on this trip!
Barb made homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner and it was awesome. I made my cousin Melba's recipe for peach cobbler and it turned out great in the convection oven. The evening was topped off by another spectacular Montana sunset, although the wind has blown strong all day. When Gary left the door open for a minute, Barb's trashcan blew out the door!
